Pierce did it again. Just an overall excellent narrative. The story feels like a “getting the gang back together” story amidst war and heartache. This book has many twists and turns and kept me entertained the entire time. Each character’s voice is clear, and Pierce has a way of inserting humor into the tense narrative without undercutting the gravity of the story. Overall great read.

I sobbed for 20 minutes from 90% and onward, even after I finished.  I love these characters. I love their development. I love the relationships they forge with others. I have so many highlighted quotes in these books that bring a smile to my face. Damn you, Pierce Brown.
