I loved this Yule love story between Lydia, Tryg and the lovely Ezog.

Yes, Tryg lied to both Lydia and Ezog and he had a very dominant arrogance to him throughout.
I think that is exactly what he is - the Dominant in their relationship, with Lydia and Ezog being Submissives, and it really worked for me.

If you like the Orc Sworn series, this is must read. Plus, the main characters are all older (in their 40's) and that is such a rare find in the world of monster romances.

A ridiculous sticky sweet holiday romance.

If you’ve made it to this novella, and you are an Orc smut connoisseur - you’ll love this.

If you’re thinking to yourself “Orc smut?” just move along or try the first book in this series The Lady and the Orc.

Good old orc holiday smut, solid and cozy.

part of me wanted to read all of the other books first but the realistic part of me said read this before I get out of the holiday spirit and don't want to read it until next december. the realistic part actually won out for once, and I'm not in the least bit mad about it.

this was a quick, festive spice fest and I loved every moment of it. I loved the writing style the author wrote with, it was so easy for my mind to follow along even in my post-travel exhausted state. I'll definitely be picking this up again next holiday season and I can't wait to read the rest of the author's works!

I never thought I’d use the word “charming” in relation to Finley Fenn’s angst-ridden, sly, deceptive, and drama-filled orc world, but I guess there’s always a first time for everything! This novella is a holiday treat for readers.

This story of a throuple coming together is unique compared to other books in Fenn’s Orc Sworn series in that the protagonists are all older. It’s wonderful to read about graying hair and damaged bodies and still share a portrait of people falling in and maintaining love. So many times we treat romance as something that happens to someone younger, so it’s a delight to see that aspect of this story.

I love the care and concern Tryg shows in his own wild way for Lydia and Ezog. I love how downtrodden Lydia is uplifted by Tryg and by what he gifts her for Yule. And Ezog is a cinnamon-roll orc, possibly the sweetest character Fenn has yet crafted.

While intensely focused on Lydia, Tryg, and Ezog, there are a number of references to other characters and a lovely portrayal of Orc Mountain’s Yule customs. I was particularly thrilled to see concern over baking 1200 cookies for Yule, as the author admitted to me that she took that idea from the number of cookies I baked for Christmas one year!

So while I won’t challenge you to bake a thousand cookies for Christmas, I will challenge you to pick up this delightful novella. It’s delicious in the best possible way.

This was exactly what I needed it to be! Short, sweet and sooooo spicy.
I'm not ashamed to admit I was reading this as the clock struck midnight and 2022 slid into 2023 just like these huge orcs were sliding into lovely Lydia.
Fenn has a way with words and is not scared of being filthy with her smut. It makes for a really fun read. There isn't much else going on in this story, so make sure you pick it up knowing that it's going to be snappy and sexy but with minimal plot.
