This was a pretty thoughtful discussion of what platonic partnership can be, and I think the interviewing and storytelling were effective. In some ways it still feels like it didn't quite reach the full creative expanse Cohen seemed to want, or maybe I just didn't get whatever reflection of my own life I wanted. Anyway, it was a good book, but I probably won't think about many of its stories very much going forward.

Reading this book made me feel like I had rocks in my tummy. I thought it was because I didn’t like it, but now I think it was fear. It’s scary to be confronted with the facts that you CAN choose to live your life outside the mold of what has been seen as normal. I’ll have to come back and finish this review later because it’s making my chest hurt a little bit 😅
