With the curse lifted and Hannah’s Angel form restored, their biggest issue is still Adam.
Lucifer believes that Adam wants to release the four horsemen of the apocalypse, as that can be the only reason he would’ve stolen Samael’s journal.
Can they stop him before he brings the Apocalypse on all the realms?
I’m happy to say that most of the questions that arose whilst I was reading were generally answered within a few chapters, which is definitely something I appreciated.
I feel like there were a few moments where they clearly hadn’t learnt from past mistakes, but they did try to cover their bases for the most part.
A loooot of betrayal going on this book and I have no idea who can really be trusted. There’s a small group that I think are definitely loyal and not playing both sides…but I guess we won’t really know until the end!
On the one hand, I feel like Lucifer’s solution with War at the end was noble, but also incredibly misguided. Like at least put killing Adam into a clause of the deal, ya know? But I’m guessing he’ll be left til the very end because it’s suuuuper personal for both Lucifer and Hannah.
Cliffhanger ending so book three, here I come!

this one was not as great to me simply because of Lucifer. Hannah I still loved but he was ticking me off a lot. it brought down my enjoyment.

I tried to like this second book and it just didn’t work for me. I got bored and it felt like a chore to keep reading so I stopped. Usually I need to find out what happened but I honestly don’t with this one.
