Becoming The Boogeyman // Richard Chizmar
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
If you thought the first book Chasing The Boogeyman was capturing lightening in a bottle, you’re in for a treat, because this enthralling sequel is just as captivating and brutal as it’s predecessor. The format, premise, delivery, and composition, is all so intricately crafted, providing the reader with a horror experience unlike anything else I’ve ever read. Every aspect is so painstakingly methodical, resulting in a payoff so spectacular you will be questioning what’s fact or fiction the duration of the ride. Avid true crime enthusiasts and horror fiends unite in this beautiful mash up that is easily a 5 star, knocked out of the park, novel for me.

I kept forgetting this isn't a true crime book. Chizmar has a hell of a way of telling a mockography with such zest that you forget it's fiction. 4.5 stars

Equally as good as the first book, and in some cases it was better! Definitely did not expect that final page!
