Brilliant writing by Chizmar! 

5 stars to this beautifully written, fast-paced, nonstop roller coaster of a book! The characters absolutely leapt off the page, the plot was go-go-go, I was thoroughly engrossed and couldn't put it down.

Highly, highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend to any lover of horror, true crime, not-so-true crime, or any combination of the above.

One of the hands-down best books I've read this year!

As horrifying and entertaining as the first book. The mixed media style, and the blending of truth and fiction, was just *chef's kiss* perfect!

I really enjoyed the first book, so of course I snatched up the sequel! Although, I admit to being confused, as there really didn’t need to be one.

This book was fine, but
as the stakes got more and more huge it becomes a cat and mouse thriller, and I’m not a fan of those. Also, with so much of the characters being based on his own life, I really don’t see this becoming super surprising, or even all that juicy, 
because well, the characters name is the author’s name.

Not sure if I will read the next one (which was another surprise with the cliffhanger ending…WHY is there gonna be another one??), but we’ll see!
