I enjoy this series the most when it’s centered around Ryo and his friends. The situation with Mizuki and Chika is really interesting. As hard as the school scenes were, the story hits the hardest when it’s dealing with Ryo’s story.

I still hate what Tsubasa did and it’s a bit harmful, IMO, to insert the narrative that outing someone is shitty, but they shouldn’t be ashamed of themselves so it’s forgivable. While I thought the stuff with Tsubasa and his cousin was somewhat interesting, I am confused by Ryo’s (and Jin’s ?) decision to help them in the end. Not that it’s acceptable to demonize someone for needing time to figure out their gender and sexual identity, to be clear. I just don’t get why one of the people they harmed bailed them out.

I liked this volume much better than the second, and felt Wing's character improved from the previous volume. The main trio is also developing nicely.
