Yay! Summer vacations only three days away and our teams ready to get out for the summer. The only thing is that Mahiru wishes to grow stronger and train like mad. Kuro's wishing to just relax and get fed by the girls in Mahiru's class who find him cute.

The Summer Festival is an event Mahiru attends to help EVERYONE. Whether it be grabbing food for someone or finding the owner to a mysterious briefcase. Kuro lounges back playing his game and eating while Mahiru runs all over. But when this briefcase is thrown into Mahiru's hands the evening takes a different turn.

Enter Sendagaya Tetsu, he's in search of a lost item. While Mahiru's looking for the owner of the case he agrees to help Tetsu. But when a bomb goes off Mahiru realizes things just got real. In trying to keep the briefcase away from the crowded festival Mahiru finds out Tetsu's an eve. In containing the explosion a certain vampires not too thrilled.

Old Child's Tetsu's servamp, the servamp of pride. In meeting the pair Mahiru insists that the two join forces with him in Kuro in going against Tsu. Mikuni's been asked by Mahiru to train him the ways of being a proper eve to a servamp. Mikuni's half in half out about the idea, he gives Kuro and Mahiru one week since Mikuni's life became "busy".

The first lesson is to knock the bags off of Jeje's head to reveal his face. Jeje isn't thrilled by this notion but Mikuni's insists. The true power of Tetsu and his weapon is unleashed and its rather interesting.

In wishing to team up with everyone and be closer as friends Mahiru invites Misono to join them. Yes, Misono gets out of the hospital, you had to see that coming! In coming to the designated location things get tense real fast. No one told Misono who the teacher was and well. . .you've got to read the book.

We saw a small glimpse of the secret group, C3, but nothing more. We did get the sense that Kuro's not into them. Well, Old Child's the same, he hates the group and informs Mahiru to never get involved with them. Like most things you try and avoid they manage to worm themselves to you. Kuro and Mahiru have to deal with C3 and that's all I'm saying. Hmph.

The books very good and I can't wait to read the next one. The author's doing a slow build up in this story. Tsu's made a move and now its time for the servamps to do the same. Or will C3 make a move? I can't remember if there's cussing but there are scenes of blood. Duh it has vampires in it! No sex or nudity.

Couldn't get my hands on volumes 1 or 2, of course, but enjoyed the third volume. I want to read more! The servants/vampires thing is cute. Yay!

I'm ... kind of disappointed in this one.
The worldbuilding's still going strong (which is great), but I'm missing any kind of action.
Yeah, we got to know C3 and its possible intentions and met a new eve (who's effing great!! probs my new favourite), but we still have no clue in which way Tsubaki plans on starting a war, what's going to happen, why Tsubaki is that dangerous...
While in the first volumes it was okay not to mention too much about the danger in favour of the worldbuilding, right now I'm getting slowly but surely bored because there's no action present.
I hope that gets better in the next volume.

This applies to volumes 2 and 3.

After a pretty solid first volume, I’m not too sure if I’m going to continue Servamp yet. The storyline is interesting, yes, but a lot of the content isn’t too engaging. I’ll decide if I’ll continue later on, but for now, I’m putting Servamp on hold.

This is an interesting series about vampire servants who stand for the 7 deadly sins. Their masters are called eves.
