This is a cute story but it is so short I found myself continually waiting for the story to go somewhere major.
I'm not a fan of explicit sexual content but this was pretty okay. The karaoke offsets a lot of the speed the relationship develops though I do wish it had been a slower burn. Sam and Lily deserved the time to grow into themselves (and each other, wink) alongside their other relationships.

Cute and comfortably predictable. Relatable characters. Given the ages of the characters I was surprised how YA their love story felt, and given how short it is there was a high ratio of smut, but if that's your thing this might be a great fit.

Okay this is so good??? Found this on Libby and knew nothing about it, but wow, I am so glad to have discovered it! 🥹

Karaoke love story featuring nonbinary/genderqueer MC + fat heroine?! YES PLEASE

Loved the chemistry between Sam and Lily, I swear. I could almost feel it through the pages??? Loved the conversations about gender and body diversity, too. I could relate to a lot of their struggles and feelings, especially as another fat, genderqueer person.

This was so so precious. Glad to mark this as my first read for Pride Month! 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

"Sing Anyway" is a very cute romance book told in two POVs.

I appreciated the representation in this book and how it was handled, it's evident the author really cares for the characters.
The conflict in the third act felt a little "meh", but I guess otherwise there was no external conflict.

An adorable read a little more steamy than I was expecting with that cover.

TW: discussions of gender dysphoria and fatphobia.

Cute, sweet, loved the fat FMC (Female Main Character) and the NBMC (nonbinary main character). I think part of me wishes it were longer, and we got more time to explore these characters and their stories.
