The very emotional tale of a woman's complicated relationship with her mother and how she navigated her mother getting cancer and passing away. I cried several times. It's also full of gorgeous descriptions of Korean food that make me want to visit Korea and eat everything.

Such a sad book but worth a read. Enjoyed the themes around food.

I went into this with the full intention of not knowing anything about the premise or the author. And what an absolute joy and privilege to get to know this small family. A galaxy made from violence, gravity, and time. And the world receives every form of art that has grown from this grief in grand abundance. I will happily help to carry the weight and celebrate her life. I see her mother in my mother.

Oh wow. I loved this very much. Not usually a fan of audiobooks but it was told beautifully and I wouldn’t have had it any other way. Seriously you should go listen to it on Spotify. I loved this book very much.
