The end wasn't as satisfying as I wanted it to be, but there are so many parts of this book that really made me think (and recoil). I'd probably never read it again in its entirety but I will definitely reread some of the stories.

This book is most famous for it's short story Guts, but it's much more than that. The through line story is a little lacking but it sets up every character. Longer than it probably needed to be but still a romp.

The author is obviously deranged and that's what makes the book so unique. The story is thrilling and the characters aer so well-drawn that you really do think you're watching some sort of reality television program.

This book was wonderfully written and perfectly creepy. I would certainly recommend it to anyone who doesn't mind a little horror and weirdness!

I will *probably* write an actual review for this because it's a book club read. I did not like this book, but I respect the art and it definitely made me feel things. Even though those things were usually incredulous-ness and confusion and varying levels of disgust. That is why I'm giving it 3 stars rather than 2. However, I do *not* recommend this book.

This book was pleasantly disturbing. I love it when a story has a high volume of well developed characters who interact with each other only after the entire picture is revealed. Haunted is definitely worth the read as long as you don't have any hang ups about sex or body modifications.
