I was kindly sent an ARC to read and review!
* Maggie is a romance/erotica writer and also works at a call center for a sex shop
* She’s used to loss. Everyone she loves eventually leaves her, permanently.
* She closes herself off from love, but she gets lonely. Because of this she decides to try dating again and try to find love.
* After multiple failed attempts at online dating, she gives one more guy a shot.
* Mike is exactly what she wants and needs.
* He loves horror like she does and they have tons in common.
* They’re relationship becomes very intense. They have a Daddy/Babygirl relationship which is part of the BDSM community.
* Everything is going perfectly until Mike does something to mess up their “perfect” world.
* They end up moving past this, when tragedy strikes.
* But Maggie won’t let mike be taken away from her that easily.
* This book is not what I expected at all.
* 50 shades meets horror. Sexual with a dash of creepy and weird.
* The direction the book took surprised me so much, I had an idea of what I thought the book was going to be, but it completely took me by surprise.
* Just want to add that I hate Mike, such a sucky character.
* I really liked the whole plot of the whole idea, nothing I had ever read before.
* I was worried the sexual parts were gonna overwhelm the horror aspects, but they blended together nicely and neither dominated (
