I liked it. Helped that I didn’t remember huck finn - had to look up the plot to see where the deviated. But it felt like a lot of time was spent rehashing the old (which was an interesting rehashing) and then when they split it just was a lot of random action shoved into the last short bit. It didn’t get developed as much. 

Also the John Locke stuff felt like it was trying way too hard to sound smart.. idk

Masterpiece 

What an incredible reimagining. Engaging and thought provoking throughout. Gave me a greater appreciation for the Mississippi, which I can see from my bedroom window.
