This book is different than the first novel. it‘s less a crime story than a novel about people who lead complicated lives and get involved in criminal actions. and it gets pretty personal! i thought it was great, interesting and gripping but something that bothered me was that i sometimes found it hard to follow. mainly because of the mass of characters, some being mentioned only a couple pf times, other names sounding very similar. a couple of times i got confused about who is who exactly (i listen to the audiobooks, had i read it i would‘ve probably taken notes lol)
and also it ended very abruptly and you have to read the third book in order to know more. but good book, good story and it makes me super sad that the author didn‘t live to finish all the books he‘d been planning to write
