Love on the Brain by Ali Hazelwood is another STEM based romance from Hazelwood. This one was okay. I listened to the audiobook and i did think the narrator did a good job. However, I had trouble getting into this storyline. This was again repetitive with the characters like her other STEM based romances but this one I did not like as much.
I had a hard time liking Bee. Her line of thinking, especially when it surrounded Levi was a tad annoying. I did like Levi as a main character but he just felt like every other Hazelwood STEM MMC. As a woman in STEM, I wish I liked this book more. I did like Love Hypothesis but ALL the STEM based romances from Hazelwood are way too similar for me. I wish there was more of a difference between the characters, especially the MMCs. The misunderstanding trope is literally the same in all these books. I think that is why I did not like this one as much, since I read the other ones first and it seems too repetitive. I think this would have been good if I read it before the other STEM romances.
⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
HAPPY READING

2.5 stars which are basically all for Rocio otherwise this would’ve been 1 star or even a DNF. I was very excited for this to come out but it was so disappointing. This was hard to finish and I only did because I had been so excited to read it. I just wanted to shake the shit out of Bee! I couldn’t stand her and how annoying and legit dumb she was even once she knew the real backstory! Levi grew on me and I was honestly impressed with how much patience he had for Bee. I’m also very mad that the BEST character Rocio was barely in it after about 1/3 of the way through! I kept waiting for her to make more appearances but no instead I had to read the same tedious back and forth inner thoughts of Bee. Most of the Marie Curie info was very interesting but even that grew tedious. I want a book about Rocio and her new life with Kaley at Johns Hopkins.

Nichts besonderes, aber auch nicht schlecht… die meisten Plot Twists lassen sich im Vorfeld erahnen, am Ende etwas zu viel Action. Ein gutes Buch um wieder reinzukommen nach einer Lesepause

This wasn't as good as The Love Hypothesis.
It's essentially the same book as TLH, but with different characters, and a different setting, and I didn't like the main female character which found annoying and so clueless it was painful to read the book sometimes.
