The only problem I had with the writing was that scenes and POV switched in the middle of a scene and it took a little bit to catch up. While the story started out a little slowly, I enjoyed Gordon's relationship with Cole and his daughter. But the more Gordon and Cole's relationship developed, it seemed that Cole's daughter wasn't as important, and I would have liked to see her included more. Cole and Gordon's relationship was strong and I feel that they really connected. I enjoyed how they solved the problem of the deportation and loved their HEA.

Was going to be 2.5/5, but the names were too cliche. The Canadian manny was Gordon Bruin. A Barenaked Ladies CD + a Hockey Team.
