There were many more aspects explored in this continuation that the first book didn’t get a chance to develop that enhances the world building of this story.
If you are debating on continuing this series, don’t be afraid to pick the book up as it truly isn’t very different (stylistically) at least and carries many of the same elements onto this addition.
My only nitpick was that it some sections felt too long? idk if that rlly makes sense but I felt like it remained focussed on one theme for a touch too long.
Graphic: Body horror
Moderate: Torture and Injury/Injury detail
