This was the perfect read for that week between Christmas and New Years!
I haven’t read anything for a while and this was a fun sweet read to get me back into the swing of things! It was well paced and I enjoyed the chapters from New Years past that showed the main characters unknowingly intersecting!
Sweet romance with a half open door scene

We all start a romance novel with the knowledge of how it will end. This one ends how they all do but the way we get to the end is so fun. Such a lovely book with actual growth of characters. I ended this one holding it to my chest- the highest praise I can give a book.
4.5* I loved this book and couldn’t put it down. My only complaint is that there were a few parts that kind of felt rushed. I would have loved an extra 50 pages to explore more about the characters towards the end.
I think it was longer than it needed to be but overall a fun read!

Pretty cute. Weird to read something that takes place over a 2020 with no rona.
This was surprisingly hard for me to dive into; I say that because it’s a light hearted, decently humorous romance of sorts. I have honestly no complaints and nothing to rave about.
I love Sophie Cousens’ Just Haven’t Met You Yet (5 ⭐️ read for me) so I will still be giving her future books a shot!

Such a cute story and different than other ones with similar ideas which I liked. It's sort of a romance book but without all that much romance which was a nice change. Quinn and Minnie have such different upbringings but one thing I liked that the author sort of spread throughout the whole novel is about how you don't know what's really going on in someone's life and there's often more going on.

This book is what Normal People could have been if Sally Rooney cared about my feelings and well being.
That being said, I loved it. I think Mariana Zapata has a run for her money on her mastery of slow burn ranking. This was such a slow burn I felt like I wanted to explode, but in the best way possible. Seeing their lives line up in ways they never knew makes me want to cry and throw up at the same time. I love them. Definitely recommend this book
