i'm just as conflicted as Adeline was...kinda guessed the end based on the sequel title lol i'i never fully get over the hypocrisy of it all but -in my nonserious book era - i can slightly overlook it. I'd say it was a
guilty pleasure but one should never feel guilty about any pleasures.

I definitely didn’t expect this book to be what it was. I went into it knowing very little. Is there spice? Absolutely. But it also talks about dark topics that could upset the average reader. It was written beautifully, and unfortunately the harsh/dirty/terrible things that people do need to be talked about. Haunting Adeline did exactly that, I’m excited to read the next one!

This book, OH MY DAYS. I read this on holiday and I have never been so hooked on a book as this one, the plot was everything, it follows dark themes which is mentioned in the content warning and I do really understand why people may not find this book enjoyable. But personally I found it exciting and intriguing. I am currently making my way through the second of this series. If you love a dark romance then i recommend.

This is my introduction into dark romance and it was very heavy but I enjoyed it. There are some heavy themes in the book. The ending was just wow, I immediately picked up the next book.
