really loved this one! there is quite a lot of in-depth astrology to get through (not really my thing) and it’s definitely a slower burn on the plot.
however, taking the time to get to know the world and the people in the village really pays off.

What an amazing book filled with lots of think pieces!! What’s great is being a fan of astrology and understanding what our protagonist, Janina Duszejko (an eccentric 60yr old woman) is saying haha.
I think there is lots to take away from this book. The main theme I took away was Duszejkos contemplation of “what have I done with my life?” Which is probably a big motivator for her standing up for animals and making an effort for people to treat them better.
I’ll probs have more to say on this book, I’ve only just finished it and recommend the book to my bfs mum. So Yh! Great book guys !!

I would love to sit down and have coffee with the narrator, I wouldn't say a single thing except marvel at this fascinating person, who has NEVER done ANYTHING wrong in her life
