Personally, I didn't like this book as well as its prequel. Xingyin was just frustrating to read at times with her sometimes stupid decisions and her wishy-washy feelings towards Wenzhi. <spoiler While I never thought Liwei and Xingyin had good chemistry together,  my man did deserve better. I really didn't like how passive and useless, Chang'e feels like she is a goddess, and Xingyin, let her make decisions rather than Xingyin making decisions for her.

I don’t like love triangles and the back and forth between the two love interests finally made me stop reading. The rest of the plot just didn’t make up for it for me unfortunately.

I hated this book and I dropped it out of love for myself, so in honor of self-love, have some affirmations:
