I was pleasantly surprised! Action, twists and turns, and enough burning questions that I jumped right into book 2 when I was finished.

For me, very compelling. I was wholly engrossed from start to finish. And I was actually surprised by some of the twists in the story. This was a quality adventure and I look forward to reading the rest of the series.
