I read the book in the original spanish language and I found that it was beautiful written, but most people here hates the writing style so I’m wondering if this was lost on translation?

overall I liked the first half of the book, it was interesting and full of dark vibes that really unsettled me. the second part was also good until the last quarter of the book came and none of that make sense for me. I don’t think instant love makes sense in a story like this, both of the protagonists didn’t even talk that much to justify that and you pretend me to believe that fascination was enough reason for her to leave his child??? hmm … it’s a short book, probably an epilogue would’ve solved this problem of nonsense

I liked the book tho !
