Ok first of all WOW from the moment I found Captive I was in love with their story I can't count the times I've re-read the dark duet I made my book buddy read it right away. I've been waiting for this one to come out for what seems like forever and CJ I can say can do no wrong I sat up and read this book in a few hours I couldn't put it down reading everything from Calebs POV was awesome I ate up every word of course he was funny, charming, a compleate ass sometimes but thats why we love him and Livvie wasn't just stupid little girl she was strong a true surviver. CJ can spin words like a DJ. LOVE LOVE LOVE not just this book but the dark duet books and I will be reading them over and over I can't get tired of them. Can't wait to read what C.J. Roberts writes in the future!!!

Such a bitter sweet closing to this series!!! A little mad that I had a bit of a malfunction to start but CJ Roberts TOTALLY lived up to the hype!! I will miss Livve/Sophia and Caleb/James dearly they are now in my top fav couples list!!

If dark and twisted is like this all the time I am in so much trouble. This story in all its dark and twistedness is utterly heartwrenchingly beautiful!!

I have to admit I wasn't in love with this book like I was the two previous novels, with how angsty the rest of the series was, I expected something similar for this book, what I got was kinda fluffy. I felt like Caleb and Livvie changed too much between the end of book 2 and this one. Caleb was a pushover and Livvie was flouncy. Having said that, I did like seeing them happy and I thought the book was cute and very sexy. I really liked Claudia and Rubio - I thought they were great friends and lots of fun. I would actually be interested to read a book about them, maybe how they got started. Anyway. As much as I would have liked this book to be a bit more dramatic, the hopeless romantic in me hopes Caleb and Livvie live a long and happy life full of kinky sex and babies.

I can't explain the way CJ makes me feel when I read her books. I go through several different emotions and I can't get enough of her ability to write such amazing stories.
I loved every single book of this series and I'm sad that its over, but at the same time I'm grateful that Livvie and Caleb get their happily ever after in their own way. These two will always have a very special place in my heart.

This is my FAVORITE love story EVER.

This was for sure my favorite book in the trilogy 😭😫 is so funny 'cause I would've never expected to like The Dark Duet as much but here we are, this is not my usual choice of reading but after this books, I am definitely going to think about venturing out of my comfort zone.
I wish this last novel could have been longer, I wanted more scenes of Livvie and Caleb being in a happy relationship but well...
anyways loved the book, bye.
