I just love Nimmo. I love the time differences in this series and it makes me want to go back and read the Charlie Bone books. Just fantastic.

It's the prequel of the Charlie Bone series. And Finally the last book I guess. Was really excited to read it. Jenny Nimmo, you're the best!

I quite thoroughly enjoyed this book. Review to come soon.

I'm 16, and I highly recommend this trilogy to all fans of the Charlie Bone books!

I found this to be a good book but I found it to be less engaging than the previous books for some reason. This book takes place farther in the future instead of a direct continuation after book 2 and focuses primarily on Petrello, Tolly and Guanhamara’s discovery of their powers. This book also introduced the start of the betrayal of the wicked children and that was interesting to read although it was hard to follow at times.

I did find the world building to be interesting especially realizing the connections between this book and the modern day books. I would’ve liked to have read more specifically about the end of the red kings life but the story at least felt complete.

Wow!!! I really loved this one-- possibly best out of this series! This book is one of the more fast paced ones of the trilogy, and it was such a whirlwind to read! I wish there was more of it, and I'm definitely going to do a reread of the Charlie Bone series soon!

This was the best book in the series. I cared about the characters and didn't get bored. I liked learning about the kids
