Overall a good collection of stories. Alan Moore is a brilliant mind, and the stories in this collection have interesting conceptual bases. Some of the writing is a bit verbose and overly detailed, which detracted from the flow and pacing of the stories. As such I found it hard to get into the collection to start. That said, such verbosity was also instrumental to the wit and humor in the many of the stories.
The standout in the collection was the novella What We Can Know About Thunderman which spans the back half of the book. It was an insightful, dark, and humourous reflection on the comics industry  -and American society by extension - told from a variety of perspectives across a variety of time points in a variety of styles. It was clever, thoughtful and engaging.
