What happened to the series ? This book was not fun, not enjoyable for the most part. I loved the Fortuna character but she was a complete disappointment in this book. She was out of character, not a smarky spunk but a wet noodle, her men were like dogs slobbering after her, she was obsessed, she was indifferent, she was wishy washy, she was an emotional tornado. She was not herself !
SpoilerOKay she sleep with the Lucifer, saw that coming but not after her remarks, and concerns, she just was like okay I'm doing it ? What ??? come on, remember your convections ? The he loves her and she believes it ? The she, HAHAHAHAHHA falls in love with him Bwhahahahahahahha yeah right. He was in it for the long game honey. Everything she said she wasn't going to do or become, she just did. That is not the Fortuna that was written before. Where did she go ?
Why'd you kill him ? Why ? Why ? Why ? He was a great character.
I hope the author swings this series back around, this was not a nice addition to the series.
Lucifer is out, Ollie was a wam bam killed your parents mistake, Fin is dead, her fairy men are semi neutered, and now she's going to go get Lucifer and ollie by herself ? Pffiiit ! Fingers crossed for a better read or I might be done with this series

I love the Fortuna Sworn series. However, this book was difficult for me to get through. After trying and trying to read through the middle portion of the book,
when she is with Lucifer,
I finally decided to skim to the latter part of the book. The beginning and ends of the book seemed on par for the Fortuna Series, but the middle felt was predictable, so it lowered my motivation to read it. I understand this book is leading up to the final book, so in the end I don't mind.

My main issue with this book is it seemed like Fortuna's character development in the previous books were ignored. I felt like I was yelling at Fortuna throughout the majority of the book.

Otherwise, I still think this book was good and I'm excited for the final installment. This has been one of my favorite series.

I have waited so, so long for Endless Terrors to be released, but before reading it I just had to re-read the first four books.

I will start off by saying this is the spiciest book of the series so far.  I'm still on Team Collith and Team Laurie.

As usual Fortuna has to go through a lot.  She can never seem to catch a break and have a little peace before all the crazy starts again.

Beautiful Nightmares ended with Lucifer turning up at her door.  He is the one who has been relentlessly searching for her throughout the series.  This books picks up a few months after this.  Fortuna is in hiding.  She knows she can't hide forever, but she will do whatever she can to keep her family safe.

Lucifer catches up with her and uses Damon as a means of making a deal with her to spend some time with him in Hell, which is where most of this book takes place.

We get a lot of Lucifer's past and it is revealed why he has been searching for her.

We also get more of Fortuna's past and more secrets are revealed regarding this.  In Endless Terrors, Fortuna is severely betrayed by three people she had become very close to.

I knew there was more to Oliver than him just being a friend in her dreams and the dreamscape they had created.

As far as I am aware this is going to be a 6 book series, so I can't wait for what will be (unless things change) the last book in the series.  I will have a reason to do another re-read when it is eventually released.
