My experience reading this monstrosity;
-oh lord this editing is fucking horrendos

There are too many details about the business which I thought were put in to pad the book. The most interesting parts of the book where about the Swedish legal system.

This story had the potential for a captivating read, but fell short due to its excessive length. The content could have been effectively delivered in a shorter format like an article or a 20 minute video. The pacing suffered from unnecessary details and redundant information. Additionally, the suspense fell flat, with the perpetrators revealed early on. The protagonist, Therese, came across as arrogant and unlikeable, especially with her actions towards the end. While some characters like Maria Lundblad initially held promise, they were sidelined as the narrative progressed. Ultimately, the drawn-out plot and unengaging characters left me feeling indifferent to the resolution of the mystery.

Good story

Found myself only getting pulled into sections of the book, the majority of the book I found myself reading but not really getting enough out of it to add to those few sections that were captivating.

Intriguing true crime story. A lot of unnecessary details, such as names, places and backgrounds, but in the end it was a thrilling read.

True crime saga about a wealthy Swede who disappeared one day, but didn't walk out the window.  The book follows the investigation, perhaps a little more closely than actually necessary.  I learned a lot about the Swedish legal system and the police response to missing persons, which is quite different from that in the USA. Kind of slow reading and a little choppy in the language.

Interesting and engaging at times, but the author has a tendency to repeat the same information a number of times in slightly different contexts. The bottom line is that with proper editing it easily could have been made more concise and readable by at least 20%.
