Holly Martin watching The Proposal: "You know what would be better than this?"

Actual rating 3.5

Super cute, got me thinking how would I like my proposal to be 🤔🤔

A-dorable.
Yes, I could see the ending basically from the beginning, but it didn't stop how cute it was!

I loooooved this book! Such a fun and cute romance. I love the friends to romance trope and it seems to be all I'm reading these days. This is definitely one of the best! I love the format of this book. It's mainly in Suzie's POV but we do get glimpses into Harry's mind thru the blogs entries. I like that I wasn't quite sure of Harry's feelings until about half way into the book. I mean, I had a pretty good guess but the author threw in events that definitely made me question it. While it is unrealistic that anything like this would ever happen it was incredible fun to read. It must have been fun for the author to research so many outrageous ways for a proposal to happen. I just loved it. Suzie was a great main character as was Harry, it just kept me rooting for them the whole time!
lighthearted

Tell her you love her, tell her every day until she knows it and believes it. Then tell her every day anyway. If you're incredibly lucky, she'll love you back.

There are over a hundred reasons why I loved this book, Harry and Suzie are the top 2 though. What a great idea for a business and I took much joy in discovering all of the inventive ways to propose. The fact that Harry and Suzie were oblivious to each other's feelings may have been highly predictable but it didn't make the whole premise any less endearing. Loved when the story line took the business partners/best friends/potential soul mates around the world, especially when it involved two of my favourite places Cancun and New York. Enjoyed Holly Martin's debut The Guestbook but this was even better. Looking forward to One Hundred Christmas Proposals and definitely an author to watch in 2015!

Sickeningly romantic!

One Hundred Proposals is as expected; sickeningly sweet, predictable, cheesy, romantic, etc. I couldn't help but enjoy it! In need of a light, easy read, I picked up One Hundred Proposals and was immediately hooked. The classic will-they-wont-they played out with likeable, if not annoyingly oblivious characters. I think some people would probably have found Suzie annoying, constantly looking for the negatives and refusing to believe what's in front of her. From the off, it's obvious where this book is going and what will happen to Suzie and Harry. But the proposals were adorable and everyone of them had my heart melting a little bit!

Purely based on enjoyment, I'm giving it 4 stars; it's not a classic but damn, is it cute!
