My hope was this would divert from And Then There Are None instead of being a simple modern day placement of a classical novel. That hope was the only thing that kept me reading.
This was definitely a quick read. I was intrigued for a majority of the book. But at times it just became so far fetched I strayed. Each character having their own issues and past and secrets got a little overwhelming and I kept forgetting who was who at times. Overall it was a quick easy teen read.

I could not stop listening (audiobook)!! Jaw dropping mystery & thriller!
And Then There Were None is one of my favorite books of all time. I am super critical of books that try to update Dame Christie‘s timeless classic. Yet here I am saying that I enjoyed this one, which is a first. I had no idea who the killer would actually be, so that was a nice surprise as well. Of course not as good as the original material, but a sufficient offering.
This was okay, unoriginal and very slow-paced. If i hadn’t been doing housework and cooking and things like that, I might’ve DNF’d, but as it stood, it was find for mildly/ almost entertaining me through chores.
Not bad by any means, so I’d be open to reading more by this author, but not exciting at all or thrilling.
3 stars. “It’s okay.”

This needed to be advertised more loudly as a retelling of And Then There Were None because this does a great job of updating that story and providing extra commentary about the social media age and fame. Each of the characters arrive on the island with no idea the beautiful resort experience they were promised is a lie and they are instead being pulled into a situation that will put all their lives at risk. I love the characters, the ones that were easy to hate and the ones that were sympathetic. The deaths were pretty standard to my expectations, with nothing too gruesome or grotesque. I really enjoyed the end with the inclusion of an article about the survivor and then the Reddit style message board about the murder, and how the details were shared.
A modern re-telling of Agatha Christie's classic "And Then There Were Done" featuring social media influencers. The book, which never acknowledges the source material, copies the plot right down to the "twist" ending which looses impact for anyone who has read the original (although, lets face it, the author clearly doesn't expect the teenage audience to have read Agatha Christie).
A quick read, it’s a retelling of “and then there were none” and delivers well on its promise.
A satisfying ending but I thought most of the book was sort of boring.
