I've got a poem in this. I like my poem a lot, but also: every other poem (imo) in the anthology/collection is probably a better reason to buy this book than mine.

Also, what I love about this anthology, besides the poems themselves, is that it's the length of a normal book of poetry. Which is something I never realized was what I wanted an anthology to be if I'm actually going to READ it. jayy dodd & Platypus Press did a great job putting this together.

This intimate collection of poems make one feel fully seated in the body, feel the weight of it, but without a plunge into despair or self-hatred. The range of genders and experiences displayed here is vital to the topic. Favorites were Kayleb Rae Candrilli's "on wanting top surgery in the fascist regime," and Brianna Albers' "Good Riddance." The brief taste makes me look forward to Kayleb Rae Candrilli's forthcoming book from YesYes, What Runs Over, and further entrenches my support and respect for jayy dodd.

Fantastic poems

I appreciated the strong emotions evoked from each poem, especially the ones that utilized anger to convey grief. A beautiful collection of poetry
