Really solid dramedy that mostly walks the tightrope of not being sentimental in the slightest, but holding space for just enough pathos to leave you thinking. And it’s frequently hilarious thanks to the blistering dialogue throughout, by far the most impressive aspect of the writing. Took about a third of its length to take flight but once it did I couldn’t stop thinking about it. A TV adaptation is a no-brainer.

I really wanted to LOVE this book… but it felt like it was missing something… idk but I’m all for woman’s wrongs so 3/5 stars for me!
