SPOILERS. I really liked it at first but then I feel like the affair started so abruptly with barely any lead up and the writing got more sloppy imo. It didn’t have as much depth and felt like everything was unfinished almost. Loved the back of the book with things to discuss during book club!

I absolutely adored this book! The dark, dry humour hooked me right away, but what really stayed with me were the conversations it opens up about sexuality, trauma, honesty, and the messy ways we connect with one another. It made me laugh, but it also made me think (sometimes more than I expected) about death, relationships, and the complexities of being human. For me, it struck the perfect balance between sharp comedy and real depth.
