I'm on a manhwa reading kick lately because nothing else is catching my interest. The only book I was able to read weren't even that great. Love the story so far. It got dark quick. Also Ruve can jump off the nearest cliff

Cute and charming. Nothing new or unique but I don't think that's required for a nice cozy read. The main character was a little bitter and unlikeable at the start, but as the story progressed and she de-aged she definitely grew on me. The love interest Ruve has so much growing to do before I even consider him a viable option, but luckily this series seems to be mainly about the family and friends she makes along the way as she finds her new path in her second chance at life. An utterly pleasant, if a little forgettable, read.

This review will be for the whole series; read at your own risk!

This was super interesting! I really like the art and the complex plot. I’m curious to see if she fails at this life too and gets to start again. But I hope it works out. I felt so bad for her at the start.

Characters talk around each other and many misunderstandings stem from the the main character suddenly being unable to speak aloud. It's the most annoying kind of noble-political drama.

The first half of this volume is taken up by Aristia's execution and flashbacks to what led up to the execution. Then we're thrust back to Aristia at age ten, with full memories and PTSD, trying to find a way out of her doomed betrothal. The age difference is jarring, from hot angst to cute sad.

This book is full color, so it should be easy to tell characters apart with the rainbow of hair colors. It is not. All the adult men have the same face. There are few enough women and children that those groups aren't confusing, at least.

I can’t even remember when this series first landed on my radar, but I’ve been intrigued for a while, and so I was quite happy to see it on a bookshelf this weekend! There was a giant tonal shift in the middle of the volume, but it’s a shift that makes total sense, and I appreciated it! I can’t wait to continue reading this!
