Nuanced enough, didn’t blow my socks off. some of the characterizations were too goofy for me. we never found out lily’s fucking problem…. was it just that she knew about cece and mandylan somehow? like? idk someone in my book club suggested maybe her and murray were dating or something but idk man. i just kinda feel like for how serious the setting was (set during covid, the stakes of not doing the show for womanDylan, the cartoonishly mean way Jac treated Amanda , the characters should’ve felt more three-dimensional. ofc always great to have cheesy sapphic romance content out there. maybe i just care too much about Big Brother idk

A fun time, but quite the reality check to have it set during a lockdown hahaha. Didn't realise it was technically a sequel, and didn't affect the ready but i am keen to read the first in hopes to flesh it all out a bit more.

This was everything I was hoping for! A sweet, sexy, sapphic romance set on the backdrop of a reality TV dating show, with realistic bisexual and POC representation. If you've read 'Here For The Right Reasons', you'll remember Dylan and Amanda, and some of the major overarching plot points, but don't worry, this doesn't feel like reading the same story again! Mandie and Dylan G's love story, while taking place concurrently to Cece and Dylan JM's, is completely different and even more heartfelt and gorgeous.
