What in the world was this?? It was like two books in one - one was sort of decent and the other was bizarre. And I don’t o wo what the point was. And the ending took a sharp left turn that I can’t make heads or tails of.

3.5 I think. Not quite what I expected. But found it gripping and fascinating and realistic. I am a fan of the writing style.

I don’t know how to feel about this book. It feels extremely honest, yet manages to pull together a story with a narrator who feels reliable while at the same time being not a super great person. It was an uncomfortable read, but definitely an interesting one.

I really liked it! There’s something about a weird main character that I really like. The way it was structured was really interesting and I thought it fit the tone of the book well. Quick read!
