Fun characters continue in this series. What could be more fun than a gal who needs a knot, a male afraid to give it and some bad guys looking for aome hybrid women? Oh! Let's toss in a sentient (or is that a virus lol) space ship with a 'tude all its own!

Chloe (h) gets a friend request on an app from Ricon/Ric (H), with whom she shares a mutual friend, Andy (“Saved by the Alien Pirate”), and she soon finds herself sharing messages and face timing with him. Ric had seen Chloe when she was video chatting with Andy and finding himself drawn to her, he initiated their contact even though she’s unaware of where Andy is or that Ric is a horned, blue-skinned alien. He’s sent on a mission to find a list of the hidden alien-human halflings but when his spaceship is hit by enemy fire, Ric makes a course to the nearest planet, Earth, to Chloe. From the moment Ric and Chloe meet in-person, she finds herself doing and behaving in ways she never normally would, unaware that he’s emitting pheromones that are triggering her. Even though Ric only emits pheromones for his mate, he refuses to accept that Chloe could be his, and insists he must have been released by someone he met prior to his mission. Things heat up between Ric and Chloe, btu he refuses to fully make her his out of concern that he might physically harm her with his anatomy and that even though he has feelings for her, he’ll hurt her even more when he goes to his “real” mate. Poor Chloe is so frustrated, and Ric just can’t accept she’s his mate, no matter the evidence or what other aliens scent about he and Chloe. Pixa, Ric’s snarky spaceship who loves meme and gifs, was funny as she tries to convince Ric about his mate and as she befriends Chloe. Ultra-hot and steamy alien-human fated mates romance with lots of angst, action, danger, sexual frustration, and angst.
