A good short graphic novel,
enjoyable, I hope to read the rest in due course :)

Read for reading challenges/fun.

I am new-ish (last two years or so) to watching DnD stuff on Critical Role because I didn't grow up with gamer friends, therefore never knew of DnD. But I'm a Matthew Mercer fan so I started watching.

Looking forward to the show, and though I know some of the characters, I decided to read this to get their background. It was good because I could hear Liam and Laura as their Characters Vax and Vex. I love the two of them and I can't wait to see their animated chemistry.

1 of 6 read for Dewey's.

ive been thinking about getting into cr for a while. starting with the backstories seemed like a good place to start.

the story and the art is great, got easily invested in the plot and the characters.

i was a bit put off by the first few pages starting with portraying how cruel the world can be, but i guess that was the point.

There's definitely potential here. The art is great and the brother-sister dynamic is fun, but various elements are oversold.

Full RTC.
