this was good, although finished up a little young for my taste (and that was my own fault). i maybe should have clocked it from the review on the back recommending it for lovers of riverdale. but it was still good, i liked the setting and a couple of the characters!

The Cousins by Karen M. McManus had a lot of twists and turns, and I loved the way it jumped around between perspectives. I feel like this gave a better look at each of the cousins and helped delve deeper into their characters. I do think that there were a lot of characters to keep straight, but I did find it pretty straightforward to keep track of everyone. I liked the interactions, and I really liked the twist at the end. For a long time I just thought Mildred was evil for evil’s sake, but the big reveal made all the puzzle piece fall together. I think as far as YA mysteries go, this one was really good, and kept me wanting to turn the page again at the end of each chapter. If you’re looking for a driven narrative with a good reveal, this is definitely one to add to your TBR.

I enjoyed this one, but felt like it dragged on a bit.. I also got confused about all the different characters and who was who, but that could’ve been my fault for not totally paying attention to the audiobook…

Great character development of the cousins. Fantastic plot twist. I felt a huge gap in the parents not being part of the current timeline of the story. Otherwise, it was a fun read!!
