I love anything that Darcy Coates writes and this was no different. I Can’t wait for the next installment in the series, it needs to hurry up and be out already haha.
The Twisted Dead is an exciting, cozy horror novel that features an excellent plot as well as well developed characters. Darcy Coates never seems to disappointed.

I’m really loving this series. Keira’s gift of seeing spirits has made her have to flee her old life, ending up with amnesia, but now she’s been able to use it to help spirits with people problems and people with spirit problems. She is such an amazing character, along with Zoe and Mason. And the slow building relationship between Mason and Keira adds that bit of romance to the story. But the friendship between the three of them grows stronger. If you enjoy horror (but not really scary), paranormal, intense suspense, mystery, close friends and a slow-burn romance, then you have to read this series!!

I was unsure how this book was going to top the last one. What I wasn't expecting was this book to completely blow my mind and blow the other book out of the water. I started reading this pen right after I finished the other and have been enthralled since I laid my eyes on the first word.
Keira is someone with many facets, not only because she is intriguing and has so much to offer. But also because she doesn't know everything about herself due to amnesia. Each new scenario brings new memories about herself and how she once was coinciding with these other people who were quite literally out to get her. She is not only a tough cookie 🍪 but my good ess does she have the endurance to outlast anyone.
I was taken aback multiple times in this book with choices made and how Zoe and Mason were taken along for the ride. They were by her side for the whole entirety. I was enthralled that they would stick with her through so much. I was so happy 😊 to see that they refused to leave her side even through the hardest of times.
Dane is definitely a different guy that has been through some difficult times. Keira refuses to not find a way to help and I love that about her. She doesn't care who you are but she is so willing to help those she isn't even close with. It takes a special kind of person to be able to be that way with anyone.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and absolutely cannot wait to get right into the next installment.
