I really enjoyed the first two books in this series but this one was the best by far! We are still following the story of Keira with her ability to see ghosts who is trying to help a local whilst also trying to learn more about the people hunting her and the reason why. She is accompanied by her two friends Zoe and Mason. It was nice to finally get some answers about Keira’s past and the organization who were hunting her which has been a main question in the past two books. We also got to learn more about Mason’s time at Med school and Zoe’s mother which was nice. There was so much happening in the last 1/3 of the book so of which is not resolved and will lead into the next two books. Darcy Coates is one of my favourite authors and I can’t wait for book 4!

Out of all of Darcy Caotes's work, this series is by far my favorite. Her work has a tendency to get bogged down, but that never happens here. The characters are unique enough to be interesting, without seeming to be "trying" too hard. And the mix of supernatural and real world dangerous is right on point.
