I’ve never felt so seen as someone with both OCD and ADHD 💕 I usually read sapphic romances, but I loved this man-written-by-a-woman. And Raine’s ADHD was explored with so many more layers and nuance than I’m used to seeing! Their relationship is a beautiful example of a healthy connection between neurodivergent people and gives me hope that such incredibly supportive relationships are possible.

I picked this book up as a blind date with a book at Lovestruck Books in Cambridge Mass and I am SO. GLAD. I. DID.

Not a book I typically would’ve picked up or been interested in based on the title but seeing “fantastic ADHD & OCD rep & a lovely cat for support” sold me. As someone with ADHD and anxiety myself, I LOVE reading books with neurodivergent representation.

Let me Tell y’all - I have never felt so SEEN!!!!!!! Both jack & raine are so relatable, but raine specifically makes me just feel seen and heard - time blindness, executive function issues, rambling, oversharing, rejection sensitivity, impulsiveness - all of it Raine struggles with  and I rarely see that represented.

On the other end, Jack with his OCD seems very relatable as well, and I love how real and raw he’s written (as well as his ADHD which I totally picked up on immediately lol)

All in all 10/10, 5/5 I cant recommend this book enough.

Never have I felt so seen and relatable to an fmc in terms of ADHD. I adored the way Raine and Jack supported and accepted each other with their neurodiversity. Absolutely perfection

This is a slow burn but I absolutely loved their story and the way they learned one another before diving into a romantic relationship.

I adored this story!!! There was decent representation, realistic reactions, and believable relationships. I was not expecting to love this story and was very pleasantly surprised.
