🪲“Aithníonn ciaróg, ciaróg eile," he says. "It's an Irish proverb. Roughly translated, it means, One beetle recognizes another.” 🪲

I totally picked this up because it was available as an immediate borrow at my local library and OMG. I'm bummed finding out this is part of series but I have to read the others. I loved this book so much for a random read. The narrators are also such a delight, great cast.

I loved Jack and Raine so much. I loved their honest with both their struggles. It was so refreshing to hear a character who thinks the way I do, who's angry with themselves for being inadequate for an excuse of a human (in our opinion). I love books like these. They make me sit and understand myself more and I really appreciate that. I will definitely be thinking about this one for a long while.

Cute little fluffy read. While I liked the fact that both characters were neurodivergent, I kind of felt that showcasing that hindered the plot. Also some of the dialogue seemed so unrealistic and awkward.

A great portrayal of mental health and it's impact in a relationship. I walked away with a better understanding of OCD. I also enjoyed the way this book looked at other people's expectations and how they impact your choices.
