Coming back from the dead isn't all it's cracked up to be, especially when it's been 5 years. Everyone expected it would be 80+ years, or not at all. But five years. For Travis, it was like falling asleep then waking back up- a really long nap. But for everyone else, life kept going. That makes for a pretty complicated (second) life to wade through, especially when trying to navigate second sophomore year as a sixteen-but-also-kind-of-twenty-one year old. But also still definitely sixteen. And being sixteen is hard, the first time, but especially the second.
