There was no character development. I know that Travis is going through it, but seriously!!! He just kept going after Cate even when she was engaged and clearly set boundaries. The way he butted into Kyle’s life and acted as though he knew him better than Kyle himself was the worst.
Travis deserves better and he deserved to learn how to be a better person before the last chapter. I should have stopped reading, but to its credit this book kept me reading. Something about it kept me going. Maybe it was the breaking of the 4th wall or the way John Whaley was able to personify a 16 year old lost in time.
This book all in all is not worth it in my opinion, but I’m not entirely mad I read it.
