Heartbreaking but beautiful story

I absolutely love this author take on Cinderella , I found myself engrossed in the story and before I knew . It was over . Odette was the (perfect) horrible step mother who was responsible of so many vile things it would make you sick . I still can’t comprehend how someone can be some cold and selfish as she was , even to her own sons . I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who enjoys darker romance books and fairy tale retelling s.

Not even 16% in and I’m DNFing. This is just too cringe. The relationship with her father is bullshit. Girl has no damn spine and the insta love with the stepbrothers? This is just… well, cringe.

 DARK Romance. This book has trigger warnings for a reason. If you are not good with Pain (Emotional, Verbal, Mental, and Physical), Sexual Trauma (forced), and Murder.... DO NOT READ THIS. It was a good book however it was a darker romance that I almost had to DNF. I am generally good with Dark Romance but the Sexual Assault in this book it made me take a step back and stop reading for a couple of days so that I could recenter myself.

This was a dark, twisted fairytale retelling and an emotional ride. I was happy, sad, mad (SO mad at times) - it was a rollercoaster, and I loved it!

This story had a FMC who had been through so much, and protective (& obsessed) MMCs, who just wanted to save her.

There was plenty of drama and manipulation, but also sweet and steamy moments throughout, too!

I hadn't read anything from this author before, but I need to read more now.
