Rosa Lee is easily one of my favorite authors. This wasn’t my absolute favorites of hers, but it’s still pretty good. Just fast- definitely not a read you want if you’re more into slow burns. This doesn’t all make conventional sense, but it’s a fun read.
DNF, too much going on in personal life to focus on this book.

Alright so first off this book is smut! It starts off heavy and strong and the kind of book that you just enjoy as total fiction and don’t think or question it too hard.
The smut was hot, lots of group play including MM.
I was really glad that this wasn’t a bully romance, with the “evil” side of things I was worried that wasn’t mentioned in the description but they truly love her from the beginning.
Three things I didn’t like and brought it down to 4 stars.
1) On page self-harm and suicide attempt, AND it glorified it. She got help eventually but that was a hard storyline to be ok with.
2) Almost on page rape. SPOILER! Normally the hero’s get there in time and they didn’t. It wasn’t graphic and faded to black once it started but you knew.
3) pushing the bro/sis angle. I know it’s taboo and I’m cool with it but it was constantly pushed and it was just way too much for me.
I would be open to reading more of this series!

I had really high hopes for this one, but after reading Tainted Saints, this paled in comparison for me.
I'm usually a complete sucker for a Cinderella retelling and taboo dark romance, and usually with Rosa's MMCs I have a clear favourite in the group - but this time I don't and I think it's probabky because I was comparing it to Tainted Saints in my head the entire time.
