There are no redeeming qualities to this book. Raging misogyny (she’s so not like other girls), horrible and cringey FMC, Wattpad-esque scenarios, no chemistry… did I mention the FMC?

MMC (I can’t even remember his name now): Only sex, no feelings
Reagan: Ok
Reagan: *instantly develops feelings*
MMC *seemingly doesn’t develop feelings*
Reagan: 😮

Only reason I kept listening was because I didn’t have any other contemporary romances in the reading queue & I needed something breezy to listen to at work. Never again.

OH AND ONE MORE THING- why do these books act like it’s impossible to have sex on your period? Sure it’s not for everyone, but there’s no “I just don’t like sex on my period” convo, just “Sorry we CAN’T have sex, I’m BLEEDING”. Girl, just put a towel down and go at it!!! It’s happened in both books and it’s kinda insulting to insinuate that periods mean the lady can’t get it off

Thane and Regan's romance is one of my favorites in this series! The boss falls for the nanny trope is just delicious and I love how he has to sneak into her annex apartment. So so good!
