BA Paris is at her best when she writes unhinged and completely ridiculous yet wildly entertaining plots
This was exactly the type of thriller I love to read - a close knit community filled with secrets, red herrings at every turn and a satisfying ending.
I've read quite a few B. A. Paris books now and this was definitely my favourite. I thought the pacing was great and there was just the right amount of characters to feel realistic. I find a lot of thrillers tend to add in unnecessary characters just to throw the reader off the scent but everyone here had a purpose which was great!
The plot was well crafted and unique and the twist was both unexpected and made sense which is pretty rare! I'd definitely recommend this one!
