Just as good  as the book if not better after reading the book you catch Alot of what you missed and things get clarified. I listened  to the YouTube version.

These four stories have a creepy vibe, but didn't feel as earth-shatteringly scary as everyone says. Perhaps it's a case of them being supreme horror for the time, but now, over 100 years later, they don't quite hit the same. Still glad I read them though.

The horror sections actually having to do with “the king in yellow” were the least enjoyable and least interesting parts of the whole thing. The latter half were deeply compelling and extremely enjoyable stories.
